Advantages compared to alumina:
Zirconia has better impact strength;

of ownership. The improved wear directly extends the life of the
sleeve, while the
improved impact strength significantly reduces the cost of
replacing damaged bushings in the field. At the same time,

finish have indirect effects. A finer surface finish means less
friction with elastomers and metal pump pistons, extending piston
life and reducing
pump cooling requirements.
